Developers Perry Lorenz and Larry Warshaw with the Austin based company Constructive Ventures have plans in motion for building the second largest high rise tower in Austin; expected to be 50+ stories, 400 luxury condominiums, and to break ground in the fourth quarter of 2015. This will be more than 6 stories higher than the current second highest building in Austin, 360 Condominiums.
The tower planned for the site which was formerly the Austin Energy Control Center, will be another addition to the ever expanding Austin Skyline.
Expected pricing on these luxury condominiums for sale will be around $300,000 and upwards of $1 million for premium units.
Locally Designed by Austin architects Rhode Partners Inc. , this tower is expected to feature a mostly glass facade and contemporary in design.
Located adjacent to Seaholm Residences at 3rd and West, the newest addition to the Austin Skyline will be mixed use development that also includes 120,000 square feet of office space and 15,000 square feet of retail space.
Total expected cost of this 2 and 1/2 year construction project is to exceed $200 million.
